The health and safety of those who work either directly or indirectly for Advanced Group is of the utmost importance to senior management and it is our ultimate goal to continually improve WHS performance within the business.   In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, senior management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness.   In order to achieve this; the following objectives have been established:

  • Communicate this policy to all existing workers and to new workers when they commence with Advanced Group
  • Safe work practices and job procedures will be clearly defined in the WHS Manual and all employees will comply with all WHS legislation and other requirements which are relevant to Advanced Group
  • Ensure compliance with legislative duties and current industry standards and other legal requirements
  • Provide information and training workers, contractors and customers as is necessary to ensure their continued health and safety
  • Provide and maintain healthy and safe workplaces, safe plant and systems of work
  • All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities and on our work sites
  • Management will set measurable objectives and targets which will be monitored to ensure continual improvement
  • Management will maintain a WHS Management System which meets the requirements of AS 4801:2001

This policy together with the measurable objectives and targets will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that it remains relevant and suitable to the operations of Advanced Group. Workers also have responsibilities, which include –
