Not only is it a great place to enjoy a holiday, you can also gain valuable skills and experience if you hold an appropriate Working Holiday Visa (WHV). If you’re eager to earn a bit of extra cash and some on the job experience, it’s well worth considering working for labour hire throughout your travels in Australia. What is a working holiday Visa?

The Working Holiday visa (subclass 417) allows people aged 18 to 30 to holiday and work in Australia for a period of one year. It is a popular visa for young people looking to fund their travels within Australia, and it is easy to obtain. If you hold a passport from one of the eligible countries, you can apply online. A paper application form is also available if you cannot apply online. 75% of applications are processed within 15 days, but keep in mind that in some cases it may take longer.

Where to next?

Once you’ve obtained your working holiday visa, you’ll no doubt be itching to get to work.
