Employee of the Month September 2020

It has been a busy month for the team in the office and for our construction staff working hard on various sites across Sydney. It is safe to say that all those involved hope this mass of on-site activity continues into October.

As always, feedback from clients and our Labour Managers as they conduct site visits has been fantastic. It was a tough decision this month to choose our Employee of the Month, purely because the standard of workmanship and dedication on site has been so high. However, we believe Tony Storey is a very deserving winner for his on-going efforts and overall work ethic on site.

It’s a huge congratulations and thank you to Tony from the whole team here at Advanced Group , we appreciate you hard work and commitment.

Tony first started working for us back in January 2019 and made a strong first impression on site as a skilled Labourer working for a mid-tier contractor in North Sydney. After returning from a period of travelling during 2020 Tony quickly got back in touch to let us know he was looking for work again. Tony is now on site with one of our longest standing clients, a demo contractor in Sydney and he is working 5 days a week and some weekends.

Tony was nominated by his Labour Manager Greg for being a valuable and loyal member of the team. This is what Greg had to say…

“Tony is a valuable member of the team and I was pleased he got back in touch after returning from his travels. Tony has made a real difference since starting back with us,  he always shows up to site on time, never lets me down and works hard regardless of the task in hand. His positive attitude, reliability and all-round dedication has earnt him Employee of the Month. Many thanks for all your hard work Tony, we couldn’t do what we do without team members like you”

Tony popped into the office to collect his award and we took the opportunity to ask him a few questions about his experience working with Advanced Group and this is what he had to say…

“Advanced Group are a great company to work for. Greg is friendly and reliable , if he says he has work for me he never lets me down and has managed to keep me in full-time work since I have been in Sydney. At the moment I am working for a demo crowd and everything is going really well, the client treats me well and when it comes to getting paid each week, I don’t ever have any issues”
