Meet the Newest Member of the Team
Last month we welcomed a brand new, talented Business Development Manager to the Advanced Group Team. With vast experience within building and construction and site supervision, Bradley Mitchell is also a capable sales professional and has already made a huge impact since joining Advanced Group.
Our Business Development team are here to nurture relationships with our clients. Bradley will join the existing team to oversee all new and existing customer relationships with one common aim, to achieve the highest level of success.
As we’re always excited to add people to our team, we thought we’d share our excitement with you by asking Bradley to share a little information about himself and his journey to Advanced Group.
We asked Bradly to give us an insight into his professional career prior to joining Advanced Group ?
“My career began installing windows and doors for a well-known contractor. I was then approached by a large commercial contractor and given the opportunity to become a site supervisor. After taking further steps in my personal development plan, I decided to move away from a site-based role and pursue a career that correlated to my studies at Macquarie University where I am currently sitting a Business and Economics Degree.
At this stage everything seemed to fall into place as the company I had been site supervising for merged with a national distributor of aluminum and I was offered a great position as a Business Development Manager.
Not long into this role, due to unforeseen circumstances (COVID), everyone on probation was let go and after searching long and hard I was matched with Advanced Group and I have not looked back. I can’t wait to show the company what I can do and have an excellent team around me to conquer this sector of work”
What do you like best about living Sydney?
Sydney is all I have ever known. Having never lived outside of Sydney I have personal and business reasons for loving where I live. On a personal level I like the cultural diversity Sydney attracts and being able to meet people from all over the world. On a business side, there is so much opportunity and room to grow which I thrive on.
Favourite Food?
This has to be seafood. Fresh king prawns and oysters!
What you enjoy most about your job?
What I love most about my job is being able to combine my experience with my network. Coming from such a tight knit community and being heavily involved in my community, I am able to open doors for my network in the construction industry and offer them a cost effective alternative to full time employment that they may not have considered in the past.
when I’m not at work, I am studying and completing my Business and Economics degree at Macquarie University. Other than my degree, I like to explore and go camping/4WD. I am a die hard Liverpool FC and Parramatta Eels fan and also enjoy spending time with mates, my family and most importantly my Dad: learning more about life’s lessons and his experience in the construction industry.
