Project overview:
The $390 million upgrade involves widening the M1, one of the busiest roads in Australia. Currently the 12 kilometre section between Wyong Road, Tuggerah and the Doyalson Link Road is currently two lanes in each direction. Once complete the road will provide 3 new lanes in each direction to provide a safer and more durable surface driving experience.
The upgrade will cater for the increase in traffic demand from growth in the Central Coast, Hunter and North Coast.
